Why promoting shitcoins? https://media0.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTk2MmNjN2Q3M3B1dHA2d243bmtuOXZqcHl5bmk5bzFiamY5d2piZ29ibWN3MHU4MCZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/0Vv0Ne2CnOClIExIuL/200w.gif

He is only allowing himself to be paid for his various shenanigans by people who want to be free to pay him over a protocol with the most battle-tested privacy of any of them.

If someone offered you a €20 bill, would you not take it even if you live in New Jersey?

#Bitcoin is competing with hundreds of other currencies and stores of value.

It does not "win" because of some sort of pseudo-religious conviction of its users.

#Bitcoin has no real threat from #Monero even though some people would act as if it does. They make completely different trade-offs at the very foundation.

Consider this... allowing people to pay you by the means that they prefer. Not only can mean that you get paid more often, but it is respecting the sovereignty of those people as well.

Honestly, with digital currencies, the friction of swapping a #xmr, for #btc, for example, is nearly non-existent.

If my friend, the artisan baker, offers to repay his $2 debt to me by giving me a loaf of his finest sourdough, why would I not take the "shitcoin"?

(by the way, one correct answer would be because I don't like sourdough bread and I need the two dollars so that I can put two pints of diesel fuel in my truck.)

Nah, keep your sourdough. I prefer #bitcoin over all the millions of shitcoins out there.
