The War Powers Resolution of 1973 requires that a president remove U.S. troops from a conflict within 60 days unless Congress authorizes continued operations
The Trump administration's strikes against Iran reached this 60-day mark around May 1, 2026, without seeking congressional approval
So does this mean that after "the war is over" he can engage in another 60 days conflict with Iran?
Or does it mean that he didn't seek approval because he knew he wouldn't get it?
