Trump has informed Congress that the war in Iran has ended. If the war resumes, the 60-day requirement according to the War Powers Resolution will start again.

The Trump administration's strikes against Iran reached this 60-day mark around May 1, 2026, without seeking congressional approval

So does this mean that after "the war is over" he can engage in another 60 days conflict with Iran?

Or does it mean that he didn't seek approval because he knew he wouldn't get it?
