I saw someone doing this in a video online.
Length of the is leverage for the trout bending free.
They jump ans spin around . An extra swivel between the lure and the hook should allow the trout to spin as much as it want to without being able to bend free.
Otherwise spoon lures for trout now come fitted with double bait rings.
But these hooks should also be good.
I might skip the swivel.
It is all about creating leeway.
