Most are leggy. Long season growers, usually top their plants when young to create more of a bush form.
The last peppers we had, we just let them do what they wanted. The jalapeno lived for 2 or 3 years and was so hot we couldn't eat them before we finally let it die, it had crossed with a purple pequin that had some miserable peppers on it. They were short fat jalapenos that made you wosh you were dead 😂...good times.
