You shot yourself in the foot by not supporting BIP-110 - Claiming there's no consensus on it is a lie, one in four nodes is a Knots node.

There's nothing conservative about taking a permissive attitude to spam, that's cavalier and reckless. Since you seem to criticize this very feature of Bitcoin core development, why aren't you joining the fight to fix the issues this caused?

I can't see myself running this node unless your stance on spam improves. Repeating core talking points in your announcement does not bode well.

you can't sybil attack the bitcoin network. a person could go to AWS and spin up 10,000 core v30 nodes. they will have no hashrate. they don't change the rules. maybe you would feel more comfortable with another network that works the way you think bitcoin works. might I suggest ripple or ethereum? ...
