You’re missing a really simple but profound point. In order to measure value created, you have to have fixed frame of reference. The value created needs to be a fraction of a constant. If the denominator changes all bets are off. Gold was used due to its scarcity and, because it’s soft, divisibility. Humans need to agree on what to measure value by. Bitcoin is an option.
