Just like OP_RETURN isn’t fatal #bip110 is pretty benign. By siding with Bip110 you send a signal. Agains corruption. About the resilience of Bitcoin. Think of it as a test. Next time the Core Devs will kill Bitcoin.

I talk to a lot of college age people. They are aware of nostr, they know how to pronounce it, I got a few of them to try it. You know what they seem to be afraid of, it seems? Freedom. Also, re your sentiment point, having so much #bitcoin in the stock market (I.e ETFs, Treasury Companies, etc) makes it behave like a risk asset, not save haven.

Plus, being highly liquid, it’s the first thing hedge funds sell. So also counter productive.

So far ETFs have seemed to manage it fine. Hedge funds have been involved for a while too. I’m not concerned, this period is a bit of a passing of the torch. Node runners are what matters.

No! #bitcoin is a ruleset. Worked for 16 years. No change needed. Certainly given the risk trade off. Why don’t you focus on adoption to change the world rather than lining your fiat pockets and breaking it? Bitcoin has entirely cut out humans to protect itself from greed and private gain. Except for the „maintainers“ who touch the code. And sure as hell that’s where humans fuck up again. Luckily nodes are decentralized. We can chose, and we will protect it from little greedy shortsighted people like you.
