I'm still in a lot of pain and super stiff. The painkillers they gave me make me feel crazy brained and don't mask the pain completely so it's just that I can't work or do useful things well but still feel poorly.

I am deeply resentful that I am experiencing all these consequences and the driver was just allowed to drive off with no charges.

I filed claims with my insurance and retained a lawyer. I don't love the idea of suing a 90 year old woman but those are the only consequences she's going to see for driving into a pedestrian farmer's market.

This shouldn't be on me, the authorities should handle this type of thing. But soon I'm going to be painted as the bad guy because I didn't let it slide because "oh she's old what can ya do".
