I mean I think arcade game design needs to come back. I seriously fucking think they do, because Western Game philosophy is something along the lines of
'we need to make our shit a movie down to the padding and shit you need to do' and that's literally killed my enjoyment to fun ratio because sometimes you literally only have a day, and you'd be better off spending like a fucking quarter, or by today's inflation rate, like 1.75 cents playing a video game over that shit.
