Exactly. And one can see how easily those miners in the pool redistributed when China had it's last big ban, and miners fled the country.
When you zoom out, I see mining becoming more and more decentralized, not centralized. Home mining was barely a thing in the last cycle. Now it is not just reachable but its getting to a point where any consumer can just plug it in and walk away,
If people were that worried about mining, they'd push for DATUM, home mining, and simplification of nodes (more appliances).
All of this rhetoric is just rationalizing their drama.
