I’m correctly identifying that the daily volume of Tether on Tron alone is greater than the daily volume of Bitcoin. I’m not encouraging people to use tether. I have never once used Tether. I don’t accept Tether. I have only an XMR address on my profile and only use XMR. But Tether started on Bitcoin! It was originally a Bitcoin project! Bitcoin should be collecting those fees! And Core refused to make any accommodations for it, instead focusing on LN. Today all those fees related to Tether transactions are going to other, more useful blockchains. There’s 23.7 times the number of Bitcoin locked up in WBTC than in LN channels, after a whole decade of LN! The real world market has spoken clearly, nobody wants what you are pushing.
