A new day. A new chance to succeed.

My last bread baking failed. The starter wasn't ready and the loaf just sat there, wet and glistening for 24 hours.

I baked it anyway, just to complete the cycle but I knew what I'd get out of the oven.

A brick.

Disappointing but only a small setback. I know how to fix it.

These things happen. No matter how successful the past efforts, the next one can fall flat.

I'll just try again.
