I am curious as to the incentives for joining multiple relays. The majority of people, who have no interest in violating social norms, don't really have to worry about censorship. So all those people will ultimately centralize to a handful of relays. That is unless relays become themed/branded entities, with local feeds catering to people subscribed to that particular relay (e.g., the fediverse bridge relays).
