So, it probably was the big miners who funded the anti-core FUD because they wanted to protect their payments for mining non-standard transactions.

It's really weird. Core supporters affirm having measured spam and having checked that the OP_RETURN cap raise hasn't changed anything, yet they affirm at the same time that there is no spam onchain, or that assigning something as spam is arbitrary.
