I booted into the live environment of #GhostBSD on my 2011 iMac 27-inch. I always forget that this Mac requires the original keyboard (I'm sure it's somewhere) or a wired USB keyboard to boot from US...

@passthejoe All of that said, GhostBSD with MATE was extremely responsive on this machine. It did WiFi extremely well.

But I didn't get the sense that anybody has really solved the sound problem for FreeBSD on this hardware, and that gave me pause.

Suspend was more wonky than I'd like it to be, but it worked.
