I think this points to the importance of a marketing team. Now, this is StatCounter, so grain of salt in the actual figures, but it's got Linux sitting at 4.39% worldwide desktop market share. That's pretty solid. ChromeOS is way back with 1.21%. Here's the question though. When was the last time you went into any store that sells computers and saw a Linux computer, but NOT a ChromeOS system. I see ChromeOS all the time. No Linux. Marketing is important.
