Okay, looks like my next distro is gonna be MX Linux. Because of all the systemd and age verification issues. Ubuntu and Fedora are totally out of the question for that reason, they want compliance.

MX Linux is deb based too and supposedly has this cool software center that pulls together all the package sources. People are already migrating from Ubuntu to it because of that. And no Flatpak crap. I'll probably go with KDE Plasma, I've got tons of RAM in my laptop. I can afford it. ๐Ÿ˜

I've been using MX Linux for a few years now, and love it. Previous distros I've used regularly were Mint, Ubuntu, and Slackware.

Been using Omarchy for few months. Took some learning, liking it a lot now.

Last I checked the Debian community was unable to achieve consensus on the issue, maybe I've missed something? Debian is my comfy place and I was legitimately sad they didn't immediately rule it out.

Arch simply "does not provide services" in Cali and Brazil... which means you simply download the OS through torrent or VPN. isn't that the obvious way to circumvent the issue? what am I missing here?

I was just about to install Ubuntu. Should I install MX or Mint or something else instead? I haven't touched Linux in almost 20 years
