Well, firstly of course the whole point is to get rid of national states. But generally at this point it's mostly about taking some EU rule/law and by adjusting it for local environment by making it even worse 😅

When i was a kid, each country had their own currency (and culture, language,...) which makes it hard to controll(devalue) unlike now with the euro... don't think of it like the United States of Europe. Its not better.
