We are at the practical limit of size now. Any smaller and noise is too high.

Nah at some point chips can't get smaller. Eectrons are of a certain size. At some point the only way to get more compute is bigger dies. I think 1nm is pretty close to the limit.

Running public infra reliably is harder from home. I know the struggle. You should be able to run a relay without too much fuss. The blossom server is a bigger ask but not really if you only have a handful of users or just yourself.
