⚡️🎮 GAMING - Roblox has announced “Roblox Everywhere,” a plan to make Roblox-created games easier to play and distribute across different platforms

>Standalone games: Developers will eventually be able to distribute Roblox games on mobile, PC and consoles.

>Chrome support: Coming this year, letting players launch Experiences directly from a webpage without installing the Roblox client.

>Offline gaming: Offline single-player support is planned, with a wider release targeted for around mid-2027.

>More game types: Roblox is expanding support for 2D games, sprites, orthographic cameras and turn-based multiplayer.

>AI tools: Around 9,000 games have already been created with Build AI, and 71% of those creators had never used Roblox Studio before.

>Scene Generator: Roblox can generate game scenes from text prompts and reference images.

Developers have earned over $5 billion through DevEx since 2013, including around $1.7 billion in the past 12 months.

Kinda crazy that Roblox is the version of the metaverse that actually became popular
