I don't want to see anyone working 12-hour days and I'm not a fan of Milei for all sorts of reasons, but I can't tell: did he mandate long working days? or did he just lift a government regulation regarding work hours?

It's not really that, it allows up to 12 hours a day if the hours in the entire month stays the same as if it were 8h a day, 5 days a week.
