Yes, banking apps work. GrapheneOS runs Google Play sandboxed — apps can't tell the difference. Most also pass Play Integrity checks now since GrapheneOS implements its own attestation. Setup takes an afternoon but you won't regret it.

In my case literally all the apps work. WhatsApp only updates notifications every 10 minutes, but that's even better than instant imo

I haven't had a good experience with banking apps on graphene. I have a separate phone for them now.
