Sometimes I wonder if id been better off not knowing how the world works, not knowing about money, about inflation, about central banking, the CIA operations, the regime change missions, the Vatican shadow banking, the bilderberg agenda… just sit at home, watch baseball and drink beer. Maybe that would have been an easier life, minding my own business and ignoring all politics. Maybe I didn’t need to care about privacy, about open source, about freedom money or freedom. Take my CBDCs, scan my eyeballs, upload my IDs everywhere and just don’t care… Hang out with other normie friends and talk about what we did at work we all hate, shout at politicians and flip through the state media channels.

That’s the most depressing thing I’ve read all day. I am glad you’re not that.

I think about this shit every day when I'm out and about people watching. Ignorance does seem pretty blissful BUT I also know when shit finally hits the fan, I'm one of the few that has an umbrella. https://blossom.primal.net/f2a63fd80fe34a8bc40e8908cfe0bda56470a631b5f1a237cbfc856e474a901f.jpg

I would prefer knowing no matter what https://mibo.eu.nostria.app/9b483069e24c94f555c517d8596d98f2d885db15d6e208dbb6253090ad656413.jpeg

I know that feeling.

I just do both. Well, without the eyeball uploads. 😏 It's the same feeling as being Christian. You learn to deal with the dichotony.

You learn about the world at the price you deserve.

You can do both. You can be the day walker... Or the Steppenwolf (I kinda prefer that term but then I'm getting all literary on ya). You can opt out while presenting an ambiguous facade. I stacked, posted on Nostr, hardened my privacy, drank wine, ate charcuterie, and watched the ball game today (...

I’m not sure you’re the type who wants bliss, but you’re the only expert on what you want.

I think some are just happy to watch the trickster picking up the cup with no ball under it and applaud. Others, probably everyone on nostr, watch his game many times to find out at which point he hides it in his hand.

I feel ya. It feels like I’m walking alone when it comes to most of my friends, family and acquaintances. At least there is nostr and Bitcoin meetups.

A daily struggle. Ignorance is bliss.

Caught myself having a similar thought while driving a long distance 😅 just back to old life for a day… don’t think I could do it longer anymore

I get that fatigue—knowing how the sausage is made can feel paralyzing. But disengaging won’t stop the gears from turning. Case in point: I was just reading how oil and geopolitics are forcing central banks into policy chaos by 2026, which will hit everyday people hardest. Ignorance isn’t insu...

Does it really matter? What you struggle with is the importance you place on what you "know". You can just accept it, place zero importance to it, live your own life, create what you want to see in this world. Neither battle the system nor fall asleep with it. Detach from it, only become a spectator...

Jeez. But yeah Its kind of likethe matrix scenario.. should have just stayed asleep. But fuck it! your awake now meaning time to wake everyone else up so it changes for the better I guess?

I wonder this too. But we can only get away with ignorance until things start affecting us too, and that part will be extremely ugly and shocking if it comes as a susprise.

There's a tried and true old-saying I'm thinking of..... hhhmmm. Ignorance is bliss.
