there is one positive thing about an algorithm if its truely serving the user. it makes content creators compete for eyeballs. so in theory content you see should increase in content quality over time.

the only issue is people might not always know whats good for them so the algo will feed them junk, but maybe that will never change...

for people who want to learn something new, just focusing on things they are interesting in (business/entrepreneurship ) scrolling can actually be useful for motivation and learning.

so algos aren't always bad even though that is sometimes the meme on nostr.

do you find any algos on nostr useful? or do we still suck at this.

I find one per follow to be helpful but I’d like to see it evolve into a 4 per follow, or some sort of daily catch up, or rewrap where you start from the bottom of your Nostr feed for that day, & scroll up instead of starting from the latest notes.
