I miss lugging around old video game consoles, moving the giant CRT tvs around to plug in the red, white, and yellow cables, then blowing into the game cartridge to play 4 player games with friends for hours. Setting up VCRs and adjusting antennas to watch local tv channels was fun too. Miss those simpler times.

Sounds like you miss being forced to be patient, ie the friction that used to lie between your wants and gratification, along with moving atoms around as opposed to electrons

I want timeline back.

I miss carrying my tower, CRT monitor, and hundred foot Cat5 cables into a LAN party for Quake. I truly miss those days.

Can't say I prefer today's state of the world compared to, say, '99 - Sure there's been a few medical advances and computers are faster now - but for what? Cars cost an arm and a leg now but aren't really any better, just loaded with useless technology, everything else is cheap crap from China becau...

I remember listening to ABC on a multiband radio. The TV station -- just the audio would come through, but it'd let me consume TV even after it was bedtime. NGL radio is still magical. But fuck clear channel.
