This is very stupid and also probably henna and not actual tattooing - but some of their lost and mentally collapsed followers might get real tattoos of this.

I’m getting some bad acne tattooed on mine.

Every generation finds something that you can recognize them by later on, showing the time when they were most intensely searching. In the 90’s it was the tramp stamp tattoo and in our time it's just that. The regret usually comes one or two decades later.
