Writers on Nostr must escape the tedious clutches of the feeds and address the full public. Your high-signal, high-effort posts are being crushed by a wave of spam, bots, shitposts, GMs, retread memes, and other effortless nothingness. The people posting and interacting with those posts are having a lot of fun, but that market is minuscule and probably doesn't include you.

I encourage you to use Nostr as a content management system for web pages, with a built-in comment section and payment rail, and to **address the wider Internet**.

I have spent over two years attempting to find people interested in my content on here, and all 5 of them have been found. We need to look outside because the people who come here can't even see what we have posted, but they can see the most popular posts, and they're... underwhelmed.

The churn. Is real.

If we don’t let go of posting for applause, we will not find peace. What is more important to each of us: the size of our content blast radius to validate us OR the authentic engagement produced by our free choice to decide when, where, and how much time we spend on the art of sharing and consum...
