Yeah, bounty hunters traditionally chased people the police were also looking for, as they jumped bail or refused to comply with an arrest warrant.

I understand why they are masked, but it goes against what the Founders intended. Public servants were supposed to be _public_.

I thought they had federal judicial warrants, like the FBI does.

That explains why they snatch people from public places, since they have no warrant to gain entry to private property.

Today I learned that #ICE 🧊 issues their own warrants. They aren't enforcing judicial warrants. They have "administrative warrants". I didn't know that is even a thing.

How is that a thing?
