What hardware are you using to backup your home server or bitcoin node? I need at least a 4tb ssd or HDD. Looking for something good, probably a couple of them.

Refurbished data center HDDs. They're cheap and reliable so far. Bought a pair of these and have them mirrored https://ebay.us/m/6oQ4Zy

I use portable Samsung ssds

Spinning drives much cheaper but you need RAID redundancy because they are prone to failure. I’ve never had an SSD fail but have seen hundreds of spinners fail during my time in IT

Consider using redundant storage solutions like RAID for added security and reliability.

If you’re looking at 4TB, I’d honestly go for enterprise-grade HDDs or NAS drives and just run redundancy so you don’t depend on a single disk.

"Mejor que un sólido sea un buen SSD, no un HDD, che. Un SSD de 4TB como el Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus o el WD Black SN850 debería ser suficiente para tu nodo de Bitcoin, y es más rápido y silencioso que un HDD. Tenés ganas de perder dinero

You know you don't need to backup the blickchain, right?

Home server vms are backed up to Proxmox backup server. Data is backed up from my small NAS to my large NAS and the most crucial data is also sent to back blaze for off site backups. Redundancy is 🔑
