We're on the same situation. I have a great spot on south facing slopes for solar but not enough exposure toe be reliable. I'm getting the feeling a mix between a tri fuel hi output generator with something like an ecoflow Delta battery would be a good start.

Power is back on, we survived. It was an adventure to be out of touch for 72 hours. Might make it a routine honestly. Board games and candlelight made us feel togetherness we've missed lately.

Also looking into generators and power banks for the future.

Tonight, calm and quiet installing @GrapheneOS on my Pixel 9a thanks to the awesome tutorial done by @BTC Sessions

Its great that you have power again. We're still in the dark but doing well. Its good to go thru this sometimes, since it points out where our deficiencies are.

And congrats on installing graphene!

Where are you guys having these power outages?

we have regular outages so I got a generator as soon as we moved out here. one of the best things you'll buy. would do solar, but in the wet season we can go for days and days with no sun so the battery storage I'd need is prohibitively expensive.

Been on graphene for a few years you won't regret it!

I use it for many years now and I love it. The only contra for me is that I need WhatsApp for work and I don't get the notes instantly.

It’s Saturday evening, the generator is humming outside. Wife and kids are warm, enjoying a movie by the fire. Both are supplied by propane. Extension cords all across the house powering Starlink and Zootopia.

It was a chainsaw kinda day. Got to cut some trees to clear roadways. Spent time setting up our power to at least save our meat and give us some creature comforts for tonight. It’s getting cold and dark but we will be fine.

24hrs of dark quickly shows how dependent we are on energy and proof of work. Those are systems worth investing in, not like systems of the state. They will never save you, in fact they hate you. So send them hate back by being completely independent from them.

We spent a lot of time outside today, free. Stacking energy and proof of work to provide for ourselves.

Plus I can still spend Bitcoin under my own power, can’t be stopped.

I am shopping right now haha. I have to get better prepared, we live pretty rural so it’s up to us. Luckily my dad had this one from a scratch and dent sale. Got it running on propane which is pretty sweet. Had it going just in time to save the meat freezer 🙏🏻
