I live cheaply. I guess not cheaply enough. I guess I'm supposed to live like I'm in the slums. Actually what they want me to do is become completely dependent on the "generosity" of the state.
For a family with rent/mortgage and a car, it's not near enough at any of today's prices. A single dude could swing it to live, but still not really grow wealth. 60k when I was in my 20s was what Obama called "rich."
