This is what I am thinking too. Makes a lot of sense. I wonder how much that impacts how much energy you can’t use for running and get better at running. Do you think that is the case?

I’m no expert by any means when it comes to training philosophies. I can tell you that my training plan contains less sprint / tempo workouts when I’m doing two Hyrox sessions per week. So it impacts my training negatively in regards to the anaerobic parts. On the other hand I‘m not doing any...
