One of the problems I’ve had with following workout routines is breaking my streak with unexpected injury days or sick days or just not being available.

I don’t think you should be mentally punished just for having a sick day. So I’ll be adding a way to log days off without breaking your streak.

It’s a bit of a cheat, but one that helps preserve habits, not break them.

Totally optional of course!

I ended up dumping all fitness apps that gamified the routine or regime. I prefer a simple log of what I’ve done.

That's also a problem for me. That and I just can't seem to find a workout routine that I don't absolutely despise. It's difficult to stay motivated when you're hating every minute of what you're doing... I'll never understand the ones who are addicted to the gym.
