Just manually weeded out a bunch of deleted profiles I’d been following and removed over 100 inactive users who hadn’t posted anything in over a month to get my follow count back under 2000.

Definitely noticing better performance on @nostrich​ now, especially with tagging users. I recommend everyone clean up their zombie follows on a regular basis. Hope to see some automated tools that can help with this.
