I know it's janky but, given the trouble you're having with the heat, try freezing a couple bottles of water and setting them behind a fan. Be sure to pour some of the water out first so the ice doesn't break the bottle.
It's an improvised version of a "swamp cooler" which uses evaporation to drastically lower air temperature.
