I was in Mexico at a Satoshi roundtable pre-pandemic sometime and one of the well known technical attendees graciously posed the blockchain-embedded CP question and answer to me almost in one breath...
We've gotta learn to look for the third solution as individuals, & as Bitcoin users (caretakers).
Nobody wants spam but i suspect we fell for the standard Problem Reactio Solution (hegelian dialectic). This has all be playing out for years now.
Knots is a good intentioned threat to Bitcoin User credibility. I think Dashr might be akin to Alex Jones in terms of discrediting non approved narratives. He makes us collectively look like fools as knots gains more support.
I don't think the Knots team/supporters or even Dashr are malevolent. They recognise something is deeply wrong with Core.
