bbc: henry zeffman: "green victory shows insurgent parties are here to stay". not really though, does it? it shows the greens are popular and "here to stay". labour support dropped enough to fall below reform's relatively low result - reform didn't surge. even when the greens win, bbc wants reform to win too.

i don't expect there's a top-down bbc policy of not platforming greens, but its internal culture of conservativism has trained all of its journalists to instinctively feel that it would be kind of weird to do so, sort of like interviewing a dog
