It's based on your own web of trust, not a global score. The people you follow (and the people they trust) vouch for who's legit, and anyone you mute or report counts against them. So your circle shapes your feed, not an algorithm.
Every account ends up with a trust level, from highly trusted down to flagged, and you pick how much of that reaches you in Settings → Trust & Safety. Keep it tight if you just want people close to you, or open it up for more of the network.
It's off by default so you opt in (one tap), and you can change it whenever. It runs on Brainstorm / NIP‑85, so the scores work across other Nostr apps too, not just ours.
