⚡️🚢 NEW - Hormuz traffic sends mixed signals

Iran appears to be pursuing a calibrated strategy in the Strait of Hormuz, using selective vessel passage as strategic signalling rather than imposing full disruption. According to Marine Traffic data, some activity may be resuming, with nine vessels having crossed since yesterday, including the Marivex, Jasmin, Bright Gold, Lenore, Jag Vasant, Pine Gas, Kiazand, Artman, and Levantes.

Some of these movements appear to be taking place outside the IMO traffic separation scheme, close to Qeshm Island, raising questions about route control, risk exposure, and whether this reflects a genuine resumption of activity or a more constrained traffic pattern.

So is the main channel (closer to Oman and UAE) completely mined or is the threat of drone/missile attacks all it takes to keep ships from going through there? #asknostr
