I bet most people don’t care if their currency is devalued. Most probably don’t even know why money loses value. And the majority of those probably don’t even think about devaluation in those terms - instead, they just see things getting more expensive and don’t understand why.

Most people learn to not keep cash around. That's why they buy a house first. So, yes they don't care. BUT, most people know things always get more expensive and negotiating salary raises every time is hard and would prefer avoiding it if they could.

Was basically me. If prices went down it was a miracle and wonder, but if they went up just apathetically think "That's just how it is".
