My feeling is that chatbots & AI "search" invite you to interact as a novice, asking broad questions & receiving comfortable, generalized answers.

If you are an expert on a topic, what you will quickly find is that the way you shape a question determines the chatbot's answer, so you are less "asking questions" & more telling the machine which position it should take. At that point, there is no new information. You just get it to tell you the perspective you already have.
