⚡️🇨🇭 NEW - Switzerland is testing a move away from Microsoft software across its federal government.

The country is running a pilot on 3,000 computers, testing open-source alternatives such as LibreOffice, Thunderbird and Linux instead of relying on Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft services.

They want to reduce dependence on one foreign tech company and give the government more control over its software and data.
