I know my "federate with everybody except trolls" norm for fedi comes off as weird, but I haven't heard a good argument. especially when I then ask what social media should our nice conservative family members use. people just want to say fuck Nazis (cause yes it feels good) and virtue signal by saying we oppose all conservatives here. except doing so helps the bad guy army grow IRL.
