I am not suggesting to do nothing. I am only saying voting contributes to the illusion of legitimacy of politics …not to mention it is *almost always* immoral to even participate in political voting.
An actionable step I do recommend is helping wake others up, especially because it is the ONLY WAY to make any real sustainable difference. Government gangs get their power ONLY through the perception of legitimacy from the duped masses.

The second actionable step I support is disobedience. Contemplate when you may disobey publicly and when you may privately …then do that.
[think Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr, the Underground Railroad, & *jury nullification* etc]
The third actionable step I support is resisting. How can you physically sabotage those who are actively victimizing you or others? When will you use deadly force to standup for your or others’ rights? …even if the aggressor has a badge.
[you gotta hear about the Bundy Ranch Standoff… I learned about it not that long ago and it’s such a cool story. Another reference was in early America when the tax-evading felons shot at ‘their own’ cops when those enforcers were coming to take their guns]
Again, voting however, is a waste …as if it makes any stinking difference in changing ‘wrongs’ into ‘rights.’ Participating in their rituals strengthens the perception that those rituals are valid.
