Consider this scenario:
You’re stopped by a street gang. They tell you that if you go to the nearest park and do the chicken dance, they *might* not rob you tomorrow. (they interpret that as you asking them not to) …however, if you go to the nearest water fountain and do the chacha, they will interpret that as you asking them to rob you tomorrow…
By performing their little ritual at all, are you NOT contributing to the illusion that their ritual is legitimate/ permissible??
When you vote, you are *actively participating* in a ritual that pretends to alter right and wrong; you are contributing to the illusion that it is a rightful means to make immoral decisions.
