I mean look, yes, there will always be someone on the left predicting economic doom in a financialized capitalist economy because on a long enough timeline this shit is simply unsustainable. They're not "wrong" ever - because sooner or later, the grabbing hands will take out the actual spenders in the market .

But this is different. People who are PAID to tell you "no, it's fine, just spend more" are going "uh... come August the world will be melting down."
