The only actual interesting thing about the World Cup is watching the Pig Empire media, political, and security state establishments desperately trying to pretend this is all normal and going off without a hitch while folks are staying away by the thousands, protesting in the stands, and various competitors and officials are being barred from participating.

These people don't have anything else but pretend - when are we going to get tired of pretend and just remove them from power? Pls soon.

(Also, it only comes up tangentially but once again let me remind you that whenever Gavin Newsom says "abundance" to you, what he means is "neoliberal deregulation" and "the benefits will trickle down." So to be clear, I've been pretty annoyed at Zeteo recently due to their incessant weird humping for "the OTHER fucking guy" in Maine but it's genuinely amazing the level of talent Mehdi has been able to assemble entirely because mainstream media has spend the past 2.5 years slowly culling anyone who wasn't pro-genocide in Gaza.

Like, dawg, this is just a big blog. And he's pulling down 20 year foreign policy reporting veterans? Never seen anything like it. Congrats to Zeteo.

I have never said the Dems and the GOP are "the same." It hasn't happened. All I've said is that they're both capitalist, which means they both support fascism, and a metric fuck ton of Democrat initiated or supported policies have created the panopticon police state Trump is using to do Hitler shit.

What I would say to you however is "why are you so proud of "better than Trump?" Is that particularly hard? You could suck ass and still be "better than Trump." Bet your momma is proud."
