Subscription models treat you like a thief.
Before, you bought a CD or any vinyl (one-time purchase, right?) and you’d reuse it so to speak infinitely.
Now you have it for the next month in the best case 🤪

And if you want to use it later on, you’re “stealing” in their minds and according to them.

This is major mindset shift in the last 15 years when it comes to business model.

And I'd say it's also big shift even in the whole IDEA of ownership itself (but that's another topic).

The good news is we can opt out.
