RIP my Bitaxe 601 😭 Lost the power adapter in a move, bought an aftermarket one, plugged it in, boom, fire, magic smoke released. Specs match so I don’t know if the Bitaxe got damaged or if the power adapter is defective.

Well, you could check conductivity between all leads going to and from all of the components to be sure. But from the scorch marks there, I would guess at least that central component is fried.
