i can see barring certain jobs from children but honestly there are a lot of jobs where no need for an age restriction. something like working as a cashier a kid is either mature enough or not...kinda just natural selection and alsoup to the owner what age is reasonable for the job they hiring for a...

There was a time when organizations - the likes of Amnesty - from the West would preach us about 'Child Labor'...lol Yeah, it had to do with kids working in Tea stalls delivering tea or in hotels etc. But still. /From 🇮🇳

Used to be the norm to start a first job at that age or slightly younger. And I mean in my lifetime.

In my opinion, it teaches children responsible and accountability to someone other than his/her parents and how to manage fiat currency. At what age you refering to? I had gotten cash jobs at a young age and helped pay for my car insurance, gas, etc. My first job was a custodian at a day care place...

As a head floating in a tube I consider a kids job is to learn and most people learn best with experience and training. Cashiers job is to us a PoS machine and verify payment. Bonus if they know basic math, can count bills, and basic etiquette. When a kids know how to cook, clean, and communica...
